Dell Technologies World 2019 is an experience like no other. Aside from being one of the biggest technology expos in the world, with over 14 000 people in attendance, it’s becoming an all-out entertainment extravaganza. But, the most exciting developments from the four-day event weren’t entertainers or Esports, but the new products launched by Dell EMC.
Here’s what was announced.
Dell EMC Unity XT
Built from the ground up, the all-new, Dell EMC Unity XT family of midrange All-Flash and Hybrid Flash arrays are built for multi-cloud extended storage. They are perfect for small or large companies with constrained IT resources.
PowerProtect X400 and PowerProtect Software
The all-new PowerProtect X400 Appliance and PowerProtect Software enable you to protect workloads across your IT environment. Thanks to the choice of either an all flash or hybrid flash-disc capacity, the X400 series allows for next generation data management. The PowerProtect software allows for the management, protection, and recovery of data and workload support for Oracle, Microsoft SQL, VMware, as well as Windows and Linux Filesystems among many other features.
How do you make a Switch exciting? Give users freedom, that’s how. Thanks to mix-and-match networking hardware and software capabilities, alongside state-of-the-art software that simplifies scaling, the Dell PowerSwitch is an exciting release.
… and the BIG news of the event.
